A Travellerspoint blog

Final Call

Tokyo has been a very fun city. Today, our very last day, we did a cycle tour of Tokyo. It included several bridge crossings, a ferry, shrines, history, and interesting tidbits about the city.

Now we wait at Haneda airport preparing for our last journey.

Just a few thoughts for my last entry:

India is always a pleasure; educational, spiritual, colourful, and gives one a real appreciation for what we have, and should never take for granted.

Bhutan was a privilege to see in the early stages of its tourism industry. Gorgeous country with genuinely happy people, proving it just might be the Happiest Country in the World.

And a taste of Japan that was fun, exciting and enlightening.

One I WILL return to, one I hope to return to one day, and one I'm not likely to return to (for the sole reason of cost). So hope you've enjoyed following the blog. Thanks for following. And again, thanks for all the comments. Much appreciated!

Here's a couple of shots to end with from today's adventure....

The fellow in the bright lime jacket is Kazu, one of our fantastic cycle tour leaders.
